This course was built on rolling terrain, so you can expect many uneven lies. Numerous mature pine trees can also affect your shots. Water hazards (a creek and three ponds) come into play on a number of holes, and a few sand bunkers were incorporated into the course's design. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 16th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 12th best for 1997-98. "GOLF Magazine" also selected it 93rd among the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1999.
