Nice, easy course for quick play, especially with kids., Aug 05, 2006
reviewer: Scott M from Seal Beach
This is a nice, easy course for a quick round on a weekend afternoon. The course has just enough challenging shots to make it enjoyable, while not frustrating the novice. Great course for kids just starting out. The course gets a lot of play, so expect that the greens reflect a lot of traffic. Nevertheless, the staff keeps things looking great and is always friendly! Try walking the course for quick exercise, or do a cart for quicker play. Club house and restroom facilities are in great shape. Snack bar/BBQ provide tasty, high quality grub!

Nice 9 hole course, make sure your newbies know that it's on the south side of seventh otherwise you might end up having some wait at the clubhouse accross the street. No real water hazards, except #7 with water running along the side and near the tee box. Not sure where the other reviewer saw a Par 5 on the course, has nice length though for a 9 hole. Quite crowded so prepare to wait, ~3 hours to finish a round on the weekends...

Across the street from its big sister, this 9 hole course is very nice. Weekend green fees are under $15 for residents. On the south east side of Long Beach, the course has varying terrain, a nice 5 par over water, and two or three decent par 4s. The course is well kept, jammed on weekends. Carts are available but most players walk. Small club house, grill, beer, etc.
