This facility is the first phase of its eventual twenty-seven hole state-of-the-art facility. With an environmental irrigation system that covers all parts of the greens, fairways and rough, this course stays in first rate condition at all times. Players will find this course a fair and unique challenge with a course design and tee choices for golfers of all abilities. Most holes on one or both sides of the fairway have sand or grass bunkers awaiting errant shots. The generous fairways and manicured greens give players plenty of opportunities for par or better. The signature hole is #6, a 223-yard, par 3, which plays over tidal wetlands to a well-protected green. There is an additional 1,783-yard ladies' tee that is not rated or sloped. The Lakeside Course is scheduled to open in May, 2000, and the Duneside Course in May, 2002.

Great place Slow play, Dec 31, 2004

This is one fantastic golf course, I have played it a number of times. If there is any problem it is the place is plagued by slow play. I have never been around the place in less than 5 hours. It seems everyone I have talked to feels the same way. 1st class facility all around but slow play destroys the experience.

This course is manicured and landscaped beautifully. It is also a female golfer friendly course. Fairways, roughs, and greens are weed free and in excellent shape. Our group of 14 will be back to play next year.

"Great challenge for your game"
This course is a challenging course for the average player up to the scratch professionals. The fairways are tight and lined with sparse pine trees. The course is an old style course, which means it has incredibly small greens. The greens are probably to most true rolling greens in the state of New Mexico due to being so old. The course is short and very opportune for low scores. I really enjoyed playing this course and the people around the club. They treat you well and the rates are EXTREMELY cheap for such a quality course. I suggest taking the trip up to Los Alamos to have a great round of golf and also to enjoy the sights of the Jemez Mountains.
