This is a Gary Player designed target course with elevated tees and fairways. It was built on wetlands and is very moist, so your ball never bounces very far after it lands. A difficult hole is #6, a 352-yard, par 4, featuring a green that is nearly surrounded by water, as well as trees and sand bunkers. This is Gary Player's home course when he's in the states.

Nice place. Course O.K. My dad played here allot in the 70's, says he couldn't believe they built homes in it! (he used to live in Sunnydale, next to it.)Only thing I could "complain" about is the skimpy parking lot! Clubhouse was real nice, and the gentleman I spoke to there, (I believe his name was Bob) was very Knowledgable.

"Must Play"
This golf course has an excellent layout and is a must play in the Detroit area. The greens, fairways, and tees were all in good shape and I believe they had four or five sets of tees to choose from for all different skill levels. The bag drop, shop staff, professionals, bartenders, waitresses, rangers, and starters were all extremely curtious and helpful. I really felt like I was a member at this club. For $70 on a weekend I was a little afraid I wouldn't get my money worth. Now I make about an hour trip a few times a month to play the course.
