This mountain course offers various scenic views of Georgia and Tennessee. The greens are difficult to read because of all the hidden breaks and undulations, and the fairways are typically open, but some trees and ponds do come into play. The signature hole is #6, a 125-yard, par 3, where you tee off of a boulder playing downhill to a green that has two bunkers in front of it.

Demanding,Fun,and well worth it., May 27, 2004

Shots that aren't well hit sometimes can end up worse than you think.(Demanding)This course is a challenging course.On some holes you have to get your ball on top or over certain hills,or your ball could roll back down and end up in a tough spot to hit out of. Number seven is one of those holes. The putting greens are probably the most difficult part about this course because they are hard to read. Most people end up having fun even if they didn't play their best. This is my favorite course that I have ever played at.

Blue Lakes C.C. is one of the best courses I have played, and I have been all over the country. Deep in the Snake River Canyon, there is not one shot that isnt breath taking. Rob Ellis, has done a great job with his staff, and golf course. If anyone gets the opportunity to play this magnificant course, do not pass it up. I would pay 2ce or 3 times as much to play this course again.

A fun and challenging course. Played the course for years and I have never seen it in better shape. The greens are fast but not out of control and the fairways are nicely kept. All in all, great low rates for a real nice course.
