To begin I am a 5 handicap golfer. I would encourage anyone who wants to get out and have some fun to head over to Riverview Golf Course. Saying that, I want to warn the golfer who normally plays courses which rival country clubs that the course is not maintained in the best manner. The layout is an enjoyable one which will challenge the beginning golfer. If you are a 10-20 handicapper Riverview will provide you with an opportunity to score well. Overall I will play this course again and it is a fun track to play with you buddies and have a few beers. Happy hacking...

I'd call myself a beginning golfer in terms of skill level and this is a great course for me. Its really a good beginners course as many of the fairways are wide open and theres not a whole lot of hard approaches. The price is excellent for the golf you get. You can ride 27 holes on a weekday for under $30. Great value! Id tell anyone to play here.

Decent Local Course, May 27, 2004

Riverview Golf Course is a good course for the price. It will never rival Augusta in terms of aesthetics but the Smokey Mtn backdrop make it quite easy on the eyes. The amount of clover in the rough on some holes make it difficult to locate one's ball even if it didn't land far from the fairway which is frustrating but on the whole the course is well maintained. It is fairly challenging, involving water on several holes. Bottom line, it's a good play for the money and worth your time to play.
