This course opened the first nine holes in October, 1996, and an additional nine holes was completed in summer, 1998. The course is hilly with very few trees coming into play. Wetlands are located throughout the course, and a road divides the front and back nines. The elevated tee boxes are approximately 33 feet wide and 100 feet long. The slightly undulating greens are also elevated and average approximately 6,000-square feet. The signature hole is #5, a 165-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot onto a green protected by wetlands on the front, right and back sides. The traditional back nine is fairly open, but four holes are located in wooded areas. Water comes into play on three holes. If you're going to miss the green on this hole, you better miss left. Walking the course is only permitted on weekdays.

| The greens are exceptional. Large and beautifully maintained. The front side gets you warmed up for a challenging back nine. Friendly people at this course and reasonably priced. |

| The greens were in impressive condition. The course has an interesting lay-out, but is too forgiving for errant tee shots. Perhaps there is a need for some underbrush, sage fields or just taller grass for those who miss the fairways by great margins. I look forward to playing the course again. Perhaps a will score a little better now that I know it is not advisable to use a driver on certain holes, i.e. 8, 15, 17 and 18. Hole 18 cost me dearly. What I thought was a perfect tee shot, ended up with by Pro V1 taking a swim. |
