The course's signature hole is #16, a 359-yard, par 4, featuring a severe green guarded by a hazard toward the front and a large ridge that runs through the middle of the green. "Golf Digest" selected this course 5th on its list of "Best New Private Courses" for 1998, and it was also voted "Best Private Course in the Southeast" for 1998.
