This course features greens that are not too difficult to read. Even though the fairways are lined by mature trees, they still afford generous landing areas. Golf lessons are available through the pro shop, please contact the head pro for more detailed information.

The golf course is really nice, well kept, a few challenging holes, resonably priced. The gentleman who runs it, is nice, and helpful, how ever, the women who is there in the clubhouse, is the most miserable individual I have ever met, never a smile or pleasant word. Its a good thing, the course is so enjoyable, it helps the bad feeling you get from dealing with her.

We are planning to golf at Maplewood for our first time even though the first review was off color using unnecessary language. Shame on that person.......

Good golfers will score very well and beginners will have a fun time. Wide open fairways, short par fours and straight-forward greens make for a stress-free round. Although it's a bit of a cow pasture, there is something very, very charming about this course. Downhill #3 and uphill #4 are stand-outs. Overall, this is golf without all the phoney trappings. A great place to relax and enjoy the game in the old-fashioned way. The couple who run Maplewood are about the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. p.s. you should walk here, don't ride, it's a short track.

Great course for we regular - non par golfers; still trying to straighten out our drives and putt on the line. Wide open, wellkept fairways with great greens. Mary Ann is the nicest starter in the business.
