This course has trees lining both the fairways and perimeter of the course. The terrain is rolling, and water hazards come into play on four holes. There are sand bunkers protecting every hole. This course has two dogleg fairways. Hole #7 bends to the left, and hole #15 bends to the right. Senior discounts are not offered from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The 5,505-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 71.1 and a slope of 120.

Mt. Adams Country Club
"A great fun course with a fun group of members"
Found this course a real enjoyment to play. The greens are fairly fast and challenging. Course was not overly difficult to walk. The layout was good. The back nine (9) has two par 5's back to back that will separate the 'men from the boys'. I played several days in a row and was accepted by the Men's club like a member. Looking forward to playing this course again this summer. Don't let its apperance fool you. This course is not flat..Play good course management.

North Park Golf Course
"Great Public Course"
You must take into consideration this is a course run and maintained by County government so it's maintenance is not what it should be. Aside from that it is a great course. It is long, very challenging, fairly wide open and hilly. It's also a very pretty course. You would be hard pressed to find any course in a comparable price range that is this nice with such a beautiful layout. This course gets a lot of play during the week from senior citizens ( they get yearly permits ) but on Friday thru Sunday it is not crowded.

Leawood South Country Club
"The place to be!"
Leawood is one of the finest courses I have played in years. The greens are smooth and the fairways are quick. Play this course if you have the chance.
