This facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses. Both courses are exclusive to military personnel and their guests. The traditionally designed North Course is the older of the two courses and features many more mature trees lining its fairways. The South Course has water hazards coming into play on almost all its holes. Both courses were built on primarily flat terrain, but there are some mounds that can cause uneven lies. The North Course has large, somewhat sloped greens, while the South Course's greens are small and easier to read. Both courses have a fair amount of sand bunkers, and the wind is often a factor. Ron Garl redesigned the original North Course in 1984. To make tee time reservations call (813) 840-6915.

Good Layout - As good as local Tampa Courses, Jan 27, 2008

Although an Air Force golf course, the layout and scenery of the course makes it seem like a resort course. Usually the course's maintenance is very good. The difficulty of the holes varies, allowing for good golfers to score well, put bogeys and double bogeys are out there if you get careless (lots of water). Always enjoyable to play. Usually takes 4 1/2 hrs to finish a round. Staff always cordial.
