This very scenic course was built on rolling farmland and is quite strenuous to walk. The exceptionally large greens are sloped, and the fairways are wide and forgiving. There are many sand bunkers and trees spread throughout the course. Tee times can only be reserved for the weekends on the prior Wednesday.

One star is for the price, that is. The second star is for the challenging length. The third star is for the challenging greens. But Belles Springs loses two potential stars for all the damned ants! By the time you get to your ball for your second shot, your ball is covered with biting ants! OUCH!

A nice open golf course nestled in the country, in Clinton County, PA. Furnished with trees and friendly people. This spread out course is a realaxing and delighful one that everyone should try! Excellent for the beginer and seasoned golfer alike.

I grew up a stones throw from this course and played it nearly everyday as a high school student. What it lacks in tightness it more than makes up for with length. You must work to get around this course unless you are long and accurate. This isn't a city course but is an excellent test if you have the time. I play everytime I get back there and love the length it gives me that most western courses lack. For the price this is an excellent walk.

Indian Springs Golf Club
"Indian Springs - Hidden Jewel"
This course is in a rural setting, with many farms around. Getting to it is a challenge, but once there, some pleasurable hours will be had. The course was well maintained, with good fairways and well manicured greens. There is almost an "upper level" and "lower level" for play and the elevation changes pretty dramatically for middle Illinois. There are plenty of water hazards, woods and places to make shots, so the course may be tough for new players. For shotmakers, it is a great skill test. The signature hole offers a scenic tee, overlooking two water hazards, gazing out into a woods and just barely able to see the dogleg right hole. Anything too far out or left or right goes out of play, and bunkers guard the green on the approach. The clubhouse has the essentials for refreshments, the price is moderate and the staff are friendly. I would recommend this course to anyone for an enjoyable outing and challenge.

"Bring your control game"
Accuracy off the tee is more important than length as the fairways are lined with colorful trees. The small greens are surrounded by well-placed bunkers and then the real fun begins. The greens are fast, unless you have a downhill putt and then they are super-fast. Since the greens are so true, there are plenty of opportunities for one-putts, but also three-putts due to speed and breaks. Relaxed social atmosphere of club makes for a fun day. Pros, lead by Danny Mulhearn, are terrific golfers and teachers.

It has a nice setting and a nice quiet atmosphere. The greens and fairways are competative. It's a descant place to go if you're looking for a pricey game.

This golf course is in the best shape ever!! it has the best greens in the country. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would reccommend this course to anyone at anytime. It challenges the scratch golfer as well as the high handicapper.
