This resort, which was named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1995 list of "Silver Medal Resorts," features two eighteen hole courses. The North Course plays the tighter of the two, with lava flows awaiting an errant tee shot. The firm, well-undulated greens, and narrow fairways provide a challenge, while the ocean views are the perfect aesthetic compliment. The signature hole is #14, a 620-yard, par 5. The dogleg right fairway moves downhill to a narrow landing area, culminating in an approach to a well-protected green. The South Course has become a favorite of many golfers, due to its more open layout featuring three oceanside holes. One of the most stunning is #15, a 188-yard, par 3, which offers gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean from the elevated tee. "Golf Digest" rated the North Course as the 9th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 10th in 1997-98. The South Course was voted the 10th "Best in State" course in 1995-96, and 14th in 1997-98.

"Totally worth it!"
For the price they ask, it's totally worth it! It's a great course! There may not be that many trees, but I noticed a few projects that looked like they were working on it, and there is still plenty of beauty surrounding it. Water hazards made it challenging, but all the more fun. Very well kept! The maintenance crew must work hard!

"Golf at your own pace in LA on a Sunday morning"
I had a wonderful time golfing on this course, the practice facility is not much to write home about but the course and the service was awesome, we were a threesome and got around the course in under 5 hours, we tee'd off at 8:30a and were done by 1:00p, we actually had time to re put the greens several times after every hole and we only waited twice the entire morning, it was wonderful, we are not the greatest golfers either, we were all in the 90's. It was just a pleasure to go to a course and be treated so nice and have such a fun round of golf, thanks.

"unfortunaeatly it will be no longer..."
according to an article in The Bradenton Herald the golf course has been sold and will be developed into 542 new homes.This is sad because it was the only walkable golf course in Manatee County. It will be missed.
