First time playing Pine Hills. Started at the pro shop. The staff was very friendly and made sure to point out all of the amenities: driving range, locker room, practice area, etc. Only minor flaw was the driving range. The advantage was that it was off of natural grass and not mats but the area was pretty worn out. It is November so can't fault them on this. Also had a sand trap to practice in - big plus for me. The course was in pristine shape - fairways and greens were great. Course itself was a fair test of my skills and had more that enough variety so that I will keep coming back.

This golf course played pretty well. I'm a pretty seasoned golfer, and i must say, the course provided a good challenge. The facilities are well kept and the entire area is nice. Not to mention a top notch pro shop. Good Job !

White Hawk Country Club
"Better than others around"
I have golfed at White Hawk for the past three summers and have found it to be a challenging three courses. With black being the hardest it is to the difficult level of a 5-10 handicap player. On average I should in the high 70's and find some days more challenging then others depending on pin placement. But if you are a golf with great accuracy then this course will be almost no match for you. For if you are able to stay in the farways even par is something insight. The course itself is taken care of very nicely and almost all of the employees are friendly. Overall it is my favorite course in the area.

"Basic golf outing"
In Bullhead City, the wind usually blows hard. This course is short, albeit somewhat challenging, because of the conditions played in. The fairways are unremarkable, the greens putt mostly true, although is tough to read. Usually putt the straight line and on the hard side to get them in. You won't need driver too often. Better than a kick in the head, but not the best golf around. Good practice.

Deer Lake Golf Course
"The New Management has made Deer Lake GREAT"
I've been a golfer for alomost 20 years now (in North East Ohio) and it always delights me to find a course like Deer Lake. This course changed management about 3 years ago and there have been MAJOR improvements. The fairways have a much more professional feel to them and the greens are now firm and entertaining. This course has come a long, long way in the last couple of years and the new management should be congradulated. Not only that but greens fees are the lowest that I've found in the area. When you go in ask Carlo, the owner, for some of his special chili.
