This beautiful course has scenic views of two lakes, and Mt. Rainier also provides a spectacular view from hole #7. The greens are well maintained and fast, and the fairways are narrow. There are long, vertical drops from some tee boxes and uphill shots from others. Hole #1, a 486-yard, par 5, provides a challenging start for your round. The par hole requires a tee shot onto a fairway protected by trees on the left side. Water hazards come into play on three holes. This club provides a special discount Monday through Thursday, which includes two green fees and a cart. A ninety-degree rule is in effect during the summer. The 5,724-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 73.2 and slope of 121. The 5,189-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 65.4 and slope of 113.

A Great golf course, Jul 14, 2004 |

| I Have been lucky enough to see Elk-Run develop from it's origonal 9 Holes. This course has really developed well, with awsome views of Mt.Rainier. However, It seems to be a little over-priced now, espesially when the distance between holes almost demands a cart. Greens are exelent in the summer, and the fairways a treat to hit from, if you can stay in them! |

| Elk run is a wonderful course. It is challenging, long and a ton of fun. you never get tired of the scenery and you need to be on the top of your game to produce. Worth the money, especially since it is a longer course. |

Excellent mid hdcp course, Feb 27, 2004 |

| I am a 10 hdcp. I find Elk Run to be a bit on the short side. Too many driver-wedge holes. However, I love practicing here. It's quiet and beautiful. Each hole has it's own seperate look. I hate back and forth golf, another reason I enjoy Elk Run so much. Excellent value and great staff. If you're looking for a course to make you feel good about the game, this is it. |
