This nine hole course was built on rolling terrain. A creek flows through the middle of the course, which comes into play on at least three holes. In addition, there is a scattering of trees that can alter your shots, especially the one's framing the green on hole #8, a 273-yard, par 4.

The course is pretty tough due to the extremely hilly terrain. The course installed a new watering system which keeps the hills green. If you go, rent a cart or prepare for some excersise. Green fees cover all day golf- so you get your money's worth.

"Hidden jewel"
This course is in the middle of the upper peninsula of Michigan. It is simply the best course I ever played for the money. Quick and true greens were very well maintained (How did they attract such a talented Superintendent). Very challenging holes that do not duplicate themselves. Laid back atmosphere--no pressures!

Throckmorton Country Club
"The Best Little Course in West Texas!"
This 9 hole course is the hardest little course I have ever played! If you think the Links is hard wait until you play this bad boy! The hardest hole would probably be #7. This par 5 may look easy when you step up on these elevated tee boxes but just wait until you tee off. Thats when the adventure begins. The second hardest would the #5. This par 4 dogleg right is probably the hardest par 4 on the course. Of course there are a few easy holes thrown in just so you don't lose your confidence. So if you are ever traveling through Throckmorton; be sure and stop to play "The Best Little Course in West Texas!"

Spring Creek Golf Course
"short but challenging"
This course is short with the lonest hole being 440 yards. Water comes in to play on 5 holes. There are sand traps on most of the holes. The course is in good condition. Great for begginers of high handicappers.

Gold Canyon Golf Resort - Dinosaur Mountain Course
