This hilly course requires many blind shots. The large trees can frequently affect your shotmaking strategies, and water hazards come into play on three holes. Since this is a mountain course, expect a myriad of spectacular vistas and views. The senior discount is only good Monday through Friday before noon. Only a nine hole fee is required for playing the course after 3 PM. Private instruction is available on site at the Georgia Golf Academy.

"Wide Open Drive"
Fairly well kept course, the fairways are wide open for the most psrt, so if you lose your new Titlest, its your fault...There are a few water hazards in challengable spots. Bunkers are all easily avoidable. This is actually a challenging course, but one that wont drive you nuts with every stroke. Its also a pretty good course for those who arent, Arnold Palmer. You have to know your game, but it allows for mistakes, without costing you 3 strokes. The trees are beautiful, and the wildlife around the course adds to the experience. Its nice to find a place like this tucked among the city, and tall radio towers, which are right in the middle of the course, between holes nine and ten, which is the primary problem spot for this course. Its priced right, and a good challenge for the money.

There is something to be said for playing golf in a peaceful location that is known to exist by only those local to the area. Best enjoyed in the early morning or evening when you may well have the course all to yourself. Just you, playing on a course surrounded by a train track and farmland. Refreshing.

A Great course, with wonderfully challenging tee shots and treacherous greens. Beware as when the wind blows, this is as difficult a golf course as any scottish links. A warm friendly and welcoming clubhouse with exceptional service and attention to detail, an guest accomadation that rivals any of the best 5 star hotels the U.S has to offer.
