This course was built next to Buzzard Bay. The terrain is basically flat, but the fairways are tree lined. The club hosted the State Amateur Tournament in 1990. "Golf Digest" rated this 58th out of "America's 100 Greatest Courses" for 1995-96, and 45th best in 1997-98. The same publication rated it as the 3rd "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 2nd best in 1997-98. "GOLFWEEK" chose the course 55th among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" in 1997, 54th in 1998 and 49th in 1999. In addition "GOLF Magazine" ranked it 86th out of the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1995, 75th in 1997 and 69th for 1999. The 5,555-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 67.1 and a slope of 118.

Laguna Lake Golf Course
"Not Fancy, But Fun!"
A tricky little course, designed by someone that knew their business. Shots over trees in the middle of the fairway, elevated, tricky (and fast) greens add to the enjoyment of this 9-hole course. Definitely recommended for golfers that like a bit of a challenge on shorter holes. The greens and fairways are in excellent shape, and the overall course is very well maintained. For the price, this course is an unbeatable value.

kern river is a very nice course. my favorite hole is hole # 9 the par three i think it is about 175-180 yards. im only 13 and i hit over the green about 10-15 yards away from the clubhouse.anywase the golf course is really cool has alot of nice views.

Shawnee Lookout Golf Course
"Beautiful, Scenic, Challenging, HILLLLLLYYY"
I have played this course several times when traveling to the Cincinnati area and have found this gold course to be most scenic. First few holes are easy.. but this just to draw you into the ambush of trees, hills, water and rough that lie ahead. Very fun course to play. Nestled and secluded right in the corner of where three states meet, with views of the Ohio river and Great Miami River.
