Mill Creek Golf Course

900 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY 12542
Phone: (914)236-3160

This scenic, gently sloped course offers the golfer aesthetic pleasure with a mountain backdrop and a pear orchard bordering several holes. There is a creek that runs through seven holes, approximately 180 to 190 yards from each tee box, making proper club selection an important consideration. The undulating greens are large with some slope. The signature hole is #4, a 480-yard, par 4, with a double dogleg fairway requiring three accurate shots to landing areas, due to the ninety-degree doglegs that veer left and right. Its beauty is enhanced with the bordering pear orchard. There is an additional set of tees when playing an eighteen hole round.

Just the greens, Oct 15, 2010

The only reason I can't give a 5 star, is because of the greens. Other than that, I loved this course. I'm a 9 handicap and this course makes you think before you let the irons rip. Please give this course a try. I think they might be a little short on capital and that may be the reason for the greens. Help them out, go play a round.

Do not golf here. Every green is horrible. They should not be open for business. Worst golf course I ever played on.

good for what it is, Jan 15, 2009

This is not an easy course. Unlike the other 2 reviewers...I'm objective. If your a beginner you should stay away. You need strong iron skills & need to put the driver AWAY & play smart. It's cheap & well maintained, very little traffic. A good practice course.

Not for the new player but OK, May 06, 2008
reviewer: Matt from NY
For $10 to walk how bad can it be? 7 of 9 holes have water hazards. Three of them make you ask yourself do I want to play here again because there very difficult. If you can't hit a driver & make recovery shots then this might not be the place for you. It's challenging but aside from the 3 holes I don't care for it's good practice. It's a hacker/local course at best.

Oh, the water!, May 30, 2005
reviewer: herb from new windsor ny
There is TOO much water over the 9 holes. Bring plenty of extra balls because many shots will be wet. Unusual layout, but the greens are well-maintained. I look at it as a good inexpensive place to practice.

nice when the conditions are good, but tends to stay wet due to some low spots. easy to walk, good prices on weekdays.
