Great Bear Golf & Country ClubRoute 209 N Foxmore Village Marshalls Creek, PA 18355 Phone: (570)223-2000
This is a trademark Jack Nicklaus course that is situated along the side of a mountain and spread out over 460 picturesque acres. The design includes numerous mature trees lining the fairways, which are relatively flat. The greens are fast and challenging to read. The signature hole is #7, a 158-yard, par 3, which features an elevated tee situated on top of a rock quarry. The hole requires a tee shot over a gully to a well-guarded, elevated green. The view looking back from the green is fantastic with an excellent view of the surrounding mountains, as well as the rock quarry that the tee box is perched upon.

| This is a picuresque track. Fast greens and no 2 fairways are side by side. Better hit the fairway or you might be in trouble. Nice clubhouse and driving range. |

| i was fortunate enough to have my golf team use great bear as our home course. i am an Alumni of Notre Dame Jr/Sr High School. i remember our coach telling us that all the other teams wanted to play us at home so that they to would be able to experience this wonderful course. i spent 4 years playing on this course and i have learned many things. the only bad thing i can say about this course is that whenever i go to other courses they can never compare to this one. also whenever i try to play i sometimes mess up b/c the ground on those courses is hard and im used to playing on Great Bear where when u hit under the ball its like butter. i hope to be able to play more rounds at this wonderful course at every oppertunity i get |
