This is a flat course with no holes having water in play. Some of the par 3's are long, so distance and accuracy are important. In 1962, Bob E. Baldock redesigned the original nine holes and designed an additional nine, making this an eighteen hole course.

Fair but accuracy counts, Mar 31, 2009 |

| Wide open fairways lead to narrow openings on the greens. Usually a sand trap on either side of the opening. Lots of tree's so unless you place your shot just right they will come into play, and some nice doglegs that test your ability to turn the ball. Overall a good course with lightening fast greens in summer. |

| This is definately the premier course for the Marysville area that is open to the public. I have tried all the local courses and this one stands out for sure. I make Plumas Lake my top local course favorite. A must try for those visiting the area and a definate frequent haunt for those living local to this great course. |

| This is one of the great old valley courses. Ancient oaks line the fairways kept to Championship standards. This is a must-play for all golfers in the immediate area. The price is ideal, the employees are pleasant, and the course is challenging and fair. |
