This course is flat, but provides enough hazards for an interesting round. Water (three ponds and a creek) comes into play on ten holes. The signature hole is #14, a 155-yard, par 3, which requires a tee shot over water to a green that is protected by sand bunkers and trees.

IT'S A WONDERFUL COURSE TO PLAY, Jul 26, 2004

Yes this course has a little bit of everything for everyone. Besides being one of the best picture perfect courses in the State of West Virginia, it is also one of the best maintained. Include golfing at Riverside on your vacation "to-do-list" you'll be glad you did.

Riverside is a beautiful but a hard course! If you are a beginner golfer i wouldn't recommend golfing here becasue you will do extremely bad!! If you are a experience golfer that has played atleast 5 different courses then you really shouldn't have any trouble with this course. You just really need to know what your limitations are on your clubs. Their is alot of water hazards on the course that sourround the green and fairways.
