This course is not too difficult. There's a few spots where you need to be a straight hitter but for the most part it's pretty forgiving. With the exception of the 2nd hole, every hole on the course gives you a legitimate shot at a birdie. The par 5's are long - but you should be able to go into the green with a short iron on your 3rd shot. The 9th hole can be shortened by 70 yards by cutting the corner by going over the trees.

This course has a high number of large oak trees and beautiful wildlife habitat. The rolling hills are a classic terrian. I do not like the moguls on contrived new courses, so I may be a little biased. This layout is fun to play.

"looking for short game"
flushing meadows pitch & putt golf course is the perfect answer for my short game.. easy to get to well kept, & in the summer last tee is at 11pm. so if i'm working late theres no problem getting in a good work out. it also has a full service snack bar. so i rate it this way.. burger, fries, beer & short game!! 4 stars.. almost forgot longest hole 80yds shortest hole 40yds avg.60yds holes

Creekwood Golf Club
"Truest Greens Anywhere"
The greens at creekwood are the truest, most consistent of any in the area. Despite the relative shortness of the course, position is critical. You cannot "muscle" this course into submission. The staff is friendly and efficient and keeps play moving. Plenty of practice area.
