This mountainous eighteen hole course features large, undulating greens and tree-lined fairways. Located on the skirts of the Pine Mountain Ridge, there are elevation changes aplenty. The front nine holes on this course are not as mountainous as the back nine. Water, in the form of lakes, comes into play on a handful of holes. Those who have played this course continue to remark on its good condition and stunning beauty.

Hickory Ridge is a very AWESOME course. It is the most mountainous course I believe I have ever played. Great variety of holes. It is challenging for both the beginner and the experienced player. The course is very well maintained, unsusual for such a hilly course. On some holes you can find incredible vistas and see for miles. Also, I believe it was designed by one of Robert Trent Jones's sons. Plus, they have some great deals on houses with a great view. (The houses don't come into play; they also are rarely seen.)

Excellent course. This course is a challenge of one's course management and club selection. The bent grass grees are awesome!

Excellent course! The greens are wonderful,the hills are beautiful. Anyone who can shoot par golf on this course is a very good golfer. A very challenging course.
