This facility added a third nine, the Lakes Course, in 1998 and now offers three nine hole courses that can be played in three eighteen hole combinations. The Lakes Course plays similar to the original eighteen holes, the Reserve and Woods Courses, however, water is more prevalent on the new layout than the original. There is also a pair of challenging holes on this nine. Hole #5, a 362-yard, par 4, has a lake sitting 220 yards off the tee, and #8, a 154-yard, par 3, plays to an island green. The original eighteen holes are heavily wooded, with water hazards coming into play at least six times. The large greens are fast. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 3rd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996 and as the 36th best under the category of "America's Top 75 Affordable Courses" in their 1996 list of "America's Best Golf Courses Everyone Can Play."

Odyssey Golf Course
"Odyssey is a good course"
I REALLY like this course. It is pretty long (which suits my game well), and there are a lot of places you can get yourself in trouble. The greens are tough to speak of...as pin placement can make this course one of the most challenging in the area (pretty serious breaks), or just a nice Sunday afternoon hackin' with the boys (dead-flat) if greenskeepers are being generous. They have GPS in their golf carts, and charge reasonable fees. The course is very-well maintained, with water in play on a bunch of the holes. In my opinion, Odyssey is the best bang for your buck in the area.

Inconsistent greens throughout and tee boxes from hell. The 12th tee grass is 6 inches tall all the time....please someone wake up. The range is closed to paying customers and open to members only. Big deal it's just a stupid field. If you want to play fun golf, go somewhere else.

Tight, beautiful fairways. Small demanding green that role true. By mid to late summer, greens are at least 10 on the stemp meter.

This is a superb course... Every shot counts, but is possible. Hotter during the summer but worth every bit of time and effort. I highly encourage people to play this course.
