This old, traditional course features small, undulating greens and tree-lined fairways. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on at least two occasions, and numerous mature trees can affect your shots. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 8th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 10th best for 1997-98.

A fine example of Donald Ross design, May 14, 2004
reviewer: Mark from Cincinnati
This is a well regarded club that both respects its past and is building for the future. Certainly some features from Ross are gone, but much of the bunkering and green construction are still there. Greens are now "Champions Bermuda" and the fairways are Zoyza (sp?). Beautiful mature trees are everywhere and come into play on most holes. Greens had good speed and tricky breaks, even after being top-dressed and rained upon. Anyone who enjoys playing classic golf courses would enjoy playing this track.
