This course is fairly wide open. There are out-of-bound markers on seven holes, and the Long Creek Reservoir comes into play throughout the design. This course's terrain is rolling and the fairways are tree lined. The greens are extremely small, well-bunkered and in excellent condition. The ladies' par is actually 75.

Decent little course for a bargain, May 07, 2004

Played Lakeview on 5-7-2004 while in town for business. Short course under 6000 yds, but it makes up for it with postage stamp sized greens, and all but one guarded by a bunker up front. No bump and runs here. Course did have character, as it was rolling with pretty lake views. Not back and forth golf. Also it was CHEAP! Paid $17.00 WITH cart by myself. Fairways needed a bit more grass but the greens were in pretty good shape and very consistant. Enjoyed my round.

Sinking Valley Country Club
"Beautiful"
This is a beautiful course especially in the fall. The holes are surrounded by mountains as it sits in a beautiful valley. The course is kept in great shape and the holes are all playable for advanced to novice players. In general this is 18 holes of great golf.

"Great Learning Course"
A very fair, playable course. Gives the novice an opportunity to try their skills without extreme risk. It also will challenge the low handicap golfer with it's terrain and hazard placement. The par 5's are scattered on the course so as to challenge you at the most critical times. Holes 8 through 12 will leave you feeling as though you've run a marathon only to have very delicate par 3's ahead.

A great course that gives you alot of different looks. Short (almost drivable) par fours and long par 4 into the prevailing winds. A couple of reachable par 5s (for the long hitters). I enjoy playing it everytime I am over there.
