Fun, encouraging course, Nov 17, 2004
reviewer: Scott from Phoenix, AZ
This little Muni course can't be beat for price/value. The course is not especially long and not especially tight, but if you're not playing well, you won't score well. In the wind, this course can become brutal because you have lots of shots into a dead headwind. The front nine is a little tighter than the back, but the course gives you an opportunity to recover from most errand drives. If you live in Phoenix, this course is a must play atleast once.

ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE TOP 10 MUNICIPALS EAST OF THE, Mar 18, 2004
reviewer: Mike Graham from 17yr resident of Mesa, AZ & 5 yr @ DRGC
...MISSISSIPPI, AH, AND EAST OF THE COLORADO! Oh, Mr.Buffoin from Danbury, CT! Oh, sorry. Maybe the roughs weren't cut just the time he played or...? Mr.Dan Buffoin, please contact me, Kaktos@aol.com, and I'll treat the next round at DRGC, after 2pm! Dobson Ranch Golf Course is JUST a great golf 'destination.' The whole operation, form A to Z is professionally run and maintained. The course, 6630 yard. Blue, par 72, 71.1/123 rating/slope. Wonderfully maintained by the Golf Superintendent and players keep-it-up nicely, too. A practice driving/ironing range, bunker and chipping area, two putting greens with lights, open to 9 pm. A complete full-line Pro Shop with friendly, knowledgeable staff and professional instructors. Demo clubs…drivers, fairways, irons & putters available @ no charge. Now, the restaurant with separate bar, is one of the better places in the East Valley for breakfast(eggs benedictus, et al.) and lunch. And much more at Dobson Ranch Golf Course.

Horrible..., Mar 11, 2004
reviewer: Dean Buffoni from Danbury,CT
The rough on this course is ridiculous, If your teeshot was a little off you couldnt find your ball in this thick rough. Did not find this course fun at all, if they cut the rough a little more finding your balls would have been easier. Never play here again....

Great Experience, Feb 19, 2004
reviewer: Pat Reid from Mesa, Arizona
We played Dobson Ranch and found the course to be player friendly but still had challenging greens. The overall condition of the course was great with the exception of the sand traps which could be better. The friendly staff in the Pro Shop made for a great experience.
