This high desert course features enough variety of terrain to challenge the most experienced golfer. This is a typical Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design and the first for him in the Phoenix area. The high desert surrounds the immaculate fairways, and the greens are fast, large, undulating, and elevated. There is a water hazard that comes into play on holes #9 and #10. "Golf Digest" rated it as the 16th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. The 5,929-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.9 and a slope of 137. Premium tee times can be reserved eight to thirty days in advance.

Las Sendas- great first Arizona experience., Jun 26, 2009

Course was in great shape for the middle of the summer. short par 3's are more of a challenge due to smaller greens. Great views on every hole. GPS in carts. Club has great amenities with driving range and practice green. This was my first course in Arizona and I am told it is one of the best in the Mesa area. It is my goal to find out.

I was visiting from Chicago and was lucky enough to golf on Las Sendas. The greens were beautiful, the course well maintained and the view of the city and mountains breath taking. I highly recommend this course if your looking for a challenge and a great view of the valley and mountains while golfing.

I have enjoyed this course for over 10 years. It seems to be a well-kept secret, however. The owner of the course and his wife are the finest folks you will ever meet. Although the course is short, it is demanding. You must place your shots very well in order to shoot a good round. Stop by and say hello to the nice folks that own and run the course.

Circlestone is situated in a beautiful country setting, just outside of Adel, GA. This course features wonderfully challenging play for all levels. Mid to high handicappers will find this course friendly enough to allow fun play, while low handicappers will be challenged enough so that they don't walk away feeling gipped out of their green fees. The course is always well maintained, and features a friendly and courteous staff in the pro shop.

"This course helped my game!"
With it's many doglegs and elevation changes, this course will quickly teach the beginners how to setup their approaches, while giving the lower handicap players a reasonably challenging round. 5 of the first nine pins cannot be seen from the tees. If you spray your tee shots, you will surely be struggling to make par. The par threes are deceiving with two short downhills, and two 150-ish up hills. These have been my achilles heel. There are not to many water hazzards, but they are well/poorly place depending on your tendancies. They can easily swallow your ball if your not carefull. The traps are typically limited to wrapping the greens, but watch out for the 5th hole, with its deceiving horizontal sand at 230 yards out. The grounds are well kept with mid speed greens that exactly match the practice green. Prepare for an even mix of wide and narrow fairways, and many misleading doglegs, both slight and sharp. This course has made me a better golfer, and I can't say that about many. Enjoy!
