Beautiful course, much elevation, customer service?, Dec 17, 2007
reviewer: Keith Porter from Eugene, Oregon
The only negative knock was a Nazi marshal. Our tee time was 11:30 (still got twilight rates/$80 in December), but the marshal kept stalking us on the last 7 holes as if hinting he wanted us to push us so he could go home (we were right behind a 4-some), then wouldn't let us tee-off on the 18th hole because he "thought it would be too dark to finish". Bear in mind, he let the 4-some in front of us finish. Beautiful course, nice/medium speed greens, and tough bunkers simply because the sand wasn't like any other; almost like kitty-litter granules. You better love elevation, though because it's insane, and don't even think about walking this course.

A MUST PLAY FOR ALL GOLFERS!!!, Aug 08, 2007
reviewer: Ray from Davis, CA
All golfers should experience Wolf Creek at least once. If you can stand on the first tee and not feel chills, you're a dead person. It's hot, tricky and the most fun I've had in a long time. Only cost $85 in dead of summer and well worth it. Don't miss this course!!

Wolf Creek Review, Aug 12, 2006

Played here in July 06. Best Course I have ever played and I didn't shot well either (91). Every hole is very pleasing to the eyes. Great conditions and wonderful staff. Desert golf at it's best. If you are in the Vegas area PLEASE drive 1 1/4 hour North on 15 to play this course. Some updates: Carts do not have GPS and ball retrievers. Only paid $85 to play. Vegas golf in the summer is great, just tee off early (6:30am).

Play it once!, Oct 20, 2005

This course is ridiculous really! - a several hundred foot drop or climb on every hole! But incredible views - yes, do take your camera ... and hang on tight when descending the cart paths! Don't be on top of those hills when one of those desert thunderstorms comes up!

Incredible vistas, Oct 09, 2004
reviewer: Anonymous from Canada
Wolf Creek is the course you will remember long after you have departed from the Mesquite area. Incredible vistas with golf shots over canyons onto fairways far below. Number 2 hole is memorable. Suttle challenging greens. Why not a 5 star? Simply because this course is priced in the statasphere. Noone should have to pay the bucks they are demanding to play golf...was that why there the number of people playing the course could be counted on one hand?

Review Wolf Creek Golf Course, May 21, 2004

This is a golf course you must play once in your life. There is no comparison to the greens attached to the views. You are in paradise with every swing. I would not say it is the hardest course I ever played so even the novice would enjoy this course. Par is definitely obtainable due to the excellent course conditions. Not knowing the course I took a dozen balls with me and only lost two. Don’t be scared just book it and enjoy. Take your camera.

We have played there ten times, when it first opened. It is like no other course in this country. EVERY hole is unique. Several sets of tees enabled all skill levels to enjoy this track. Bring your camera
