This course features several dogleg fairways, and water hazards come into play on fourteen holes. Playing this course previously is a real advantage. Many of the water hazards are hidden from view and you don't realize they are there until you're in them. Mark Mahannah redesigned this course in the 1950's. Walking is restricted to weekdays and late afternoons on weekends. There are discounts for Dade County residents.

| This is a great course for the money. The fairways are open but watch out for the many water hazards and bunkers. If you are lucky you might get a glimps of the baby tarpons in the backside water hazards. Keep'em long and down the middle! |

| My goodness is what I can say about this course. Greens were slow in the morning but when the sun started to come up they became incredibly fast. Never having played this course before was a serious disadvantage. Water seems to find it's way to your ball and the trees seem to reach out and grab you at times. My first time was enjoyable and I'm sure it would be enjoyable for you as well. I plan to go back again and tackle this course one more time. |
