GREAT STARTER COURSE!, Aug 04, 2004

Good course for beginners. Has a couple of surprisingly difficult holes, especially the third par 4 which starts with a narrow fairway and then requires you avoid lakes on both sides of a narrow strip of land leading to the green. That hole gets me every time.

A nice little course, nothing fancy, good for beginners. There are a few challenging holes, water, narrow fairways. well maintained. Good fun

"Enjoyable Round"
It is an average length course, but enjoyable. The fescue around the bunkers gives the course a nice look. There are some intersting holes such as one with a 2 tiered green right in front to make for a tough second shot from only around 60 yards. Some water but overall its fun and if you have the chance to play there do so.

True test of golf that will require a player to hit every club and shot in the bag. In order to score well plan on driving the ball in the fairway and keeping the approach shot below the hole. The greens have very settle breaks and are best read from behind the hole. The caddie master who calls himself "Gunner" is a throwback to another time, a huge drinker who needs to learn to keep it between the lines.

"Exceptional Public Course"
The course is very well maintained, I've never experienced a public course that was in such great shape. The course has beautiful scenery and is worth playing if you are a competitive golfer.
