This course was built on the rolling terrain alongside the Erie Canal, and it features a state-of-the-art irrigation system. It plays fair and is enjoyable to walk. The greens and fairways are average-sized. Water hazards come into play on at least four holes, and the four dogleg fairways also add to the difficulty.

Fun course you can score on., Aug 18, 2011 |

| Nice course with some interesting holes you can score on (shorter par 4s & 5s you can reach in UGR). Tea boxes, fairways & bunkers in nice shape although a few greens were in really rough shape. Beautiful clubhouse. Will definitely come back. |

| The pro/owner is a helpful, knowledgable gentleman, the clubhouse is superb, the Erie Canal scenery is relaxing and the course isn't packed when you want to play. It is plenty challenging but not out of reach for the average golfer. And the cost is extremely reasonable. The golf snobs are missing a gem here. |

| Playing Niagara Orleans CC was totally enjoyable! The front and back nine are completely different, yet both equally challenging. The front is longer therefore, condusive to the long ball hitter, whereas, the back nine is target golf. It allows for varous golfers to be challenged in one round. The food (burgers, steak) are suberb which made for a completely enjoyable day of golf. I was lucky enough to be invited to a memorial golf tournament and lunch and dinner were apart of the day.I would highly recommend playing there. In addition, playing along the Erie Canal was a thrill. The pro was knowledgeable and very helpful, and the course was in great shape. |

| Pleasantly surprised! Playing golf along the Erie Canal was beautiful as boats traveled past. Not only was the owner gracious and helpful, but the course layout and condition were beyond my expectations! I cannot wait to visit my friends in Western NY again so we can play NOCC. |

| I played this course in highschool when I knew nothing.. but NOW.. I look at this course and sum up its needs like this... NEEDS MORE HELP. People that know how to mow fairways. People that know how to manage a green, and hole placement and creation. Did I say it needs people that can mow? The fairways look like rough at other courses and rough is USGA/PGA regulation length..plus the lack of removal of grass clippings. Course Layout isn't half bad.. just needs people who know how to manicure a course... to bring to a more playable level It needs a team of professionals to maintain this course. Overpriced. unmanaged. There is more to golf than a great looking clubhouse. |

Maintenance is a joke!, Aug 02, 2005 |

| This could be a nice course. The new club house is great but the good golf experience ends there. The irrigation system apparently doesn't work of the people have no clue as to how to use it. At least 6 of the greens are so dry that there is no grass and the earth is cracked. I wouldn't recommend this course if the green fees were $0.00. The owner should sell it and move on to something he understands. |
