This course has a hilly front nine, then the back nine remains hilly up to hole #14. Fall Creek comes into play on six holes, and ponds come into play on two others. The signature hole is #1, a 310-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot to a pear-shaped green.

Valley View has a home grown feel where the track follows the beutiful natural contour of the land. . . not overly sculpted like modern corporate/housing development courses. It's suprising to find the valleys and elevation changes on this course in central Indiana and there are some fantastic elevated tee stations to let your drives rip! Greens are in great shape. It can be a good challenge for experienced players who want to play it aggressively, but forgiving and open for mid- to high-handicappers. Well worth the modest green fees.

This course offers a nice terrain of hills and turtle backed greens. It's a decent course to walk and is a great deal for the price.

TimberStone Golf Course
"Worth the trip"
This course is easily the best course I have played. It's on a par with Blackwolf Run and the other Kohler courses at a fraction of the price. This course has a spectacular setting. It winds up and around Iron Mountain, and is a marvel of course design. Despite the elevation changes, only one hole plays uphill. The holes are cut out of the mountain side and winding cart paths take you to the next level, and hole, until you reach numbers 9 and 17, both of which play straight downhill (as does 18, a 600 yard par five with 3 terraced fairways). The grooming is immaculate and each hole is separated from the others by woods or water. Even on a busy day it feels like you're the only golfers on the course. The staff is friendly and efficient and the course is nicely rangered. As you play the course, you will marvel both at the quality of the experience and the incredible engineering required during construction. Rates have been in the $50-60 range for the past several years and its the best golf bargain you can find. This is a course you could play every day and it would remain interesting. The fairways and greens compare with any PGA site. This is one not to miss.

I had a wonderful time golfing on this course, the practice facility is not much to write home about but the course and the service was awesome, we were a threesome and got around the course in under 5 hours, we tee'd off at 8:30a and were done by 1:00p, we actually had time to re put the greens several times after every hole and we only waited twice the entire morning, it was wonderful, we are not the greatest golfers either, we were all in the 90's. It was just a pleasure to go to a course and be treated so nice and have such a fun round of golf, thanks.
