i am a proud employee of this fine country club. Although our trademark greens are not in their best shape. This is still one of the most challenging and enjoyable golf courses to play

Putt . . . or else!, Jun 25, 2005
reviewer: Anonymous from Moorestown, NJ
Outstanding course. Beautiful layout with challenges on most every hole. Hills are subperbly incorporated into driving areas and approach shots. By far, though, the trademark of Navesink is the lightning-fast and difficult-to-read greens! If you're struggling with the flat stick . . . stay in your warm bed!

My Favorite Course, May 25, 2005
reviewer: JP Rotchford from Rumson, NJ USA
I am a member at Navesink and it is by far my favorite course. I know this sounds very bias, but I have played many courses around the US and abroad and I always yearn to come back to Navesink. It is the most fair yet difficult course I ever played. If you have the chance, play Navesink

Best Greens in New Jersey!, Jul 04, 2004
reviewer: Tom Morgan from San Francisco, CA
I recently had a chance to play Navesink. What a fantastic experience! The friendliness of the entire staff was only exceeded by the beauty of the golf course. The entire track was in pristine shape...tees, fairways, bunkers and rough were all in great shape. However, Navesink's calling card, without a doubt, is its' greens: as true and FAST as any you'll find in the Northeast. It didn't take me long to listen to my (excellent) caddy: ALL putts break towards the nearby Navesink River. If you ignore this maxim you will be in for a very long day of missed putts; if you heed this advice you may well be rewarded for sinking some long, lightning-fast putts. I've had the thrill of playing many top courses around the United States, and I'd be happy to play Navesink every day of the week.
