This busy municipal facility offers a regulation eighteen hole course and a nine hole regulation course. The grounds crew works very hard to keep the courses in great condition. The fairways on both courses are mostly flat, but some hills can cause uneven lies. The Currie East Course features a river flowing through it that comes into play on four holes. The greens vary in size and are hard to read. The Currie West Course has a couple of ponds coming into play on three holes. The undulating greens are the most challenging part of this course.

This course is fun if you like to play your fairway woods and irons and dont mind keeping the driver in the bag for most of the round. However, my favorite part of the establishment is not the golf course itself, it is the expansive pro shop which features custom club fitting. It is the only place I trust with my clubs whether I'm getting new grips, shafts, or anything else.

Lonesome Pine Country Club
"Lonesome Pine"
This is a short course but will kick your butt if you get cocky. Greens are always pretty nice and quick - several a bit smaller than average. It's designer had lots of fund cutting holes and tee boxes out of the mountains. Several picture holes, namely number two where you start about 100 yards ABOVE the hole which plays a par 5 but is easily reachable in two. There's another nasty par 5 on the back nine that only plays about 400 yards but the fairway is as narrow as a keyhole and has a dogleg left which requires a precision iron shot then an approach to an uphill green. It's tough to get on this green in three. Clubhouse is cool. People are great. Good deal if you know a member and can get on.
