This course offers a diverse and challenging round that is sure to please players of all abilities. The layout is a mix of open and bermed fairways, as well as tree-lined, semi-rolling hills. Water comes into play on eleven holes. The watered fairways lead you to top quality greens, most of which are sloped and fairly fast. A difficult hole is #17, a 170-yard, par 3, which plays from an elevated tee over a water hazard to a green guarded by sand bunkers. Hole #18 is bounded by water on three sides and fairway bunker sits to the right.

Sandy Ridge is my favorite course in the Midland area. The staff is friendly and the course is great. I've played many expensive, top-notch courses, and I'd just assume play Sandy Ridge and save myself some coin. It is a unique course with many challenging and beautiful holes. It is always well maintained and the greens roll true. The greens fees are not going to break your bank and you'll have a great time on a great course.

Danville Country Club

I found this course and county club to be quite exciting. The main reason for this was because of one stand out individual. This man was Brad Irle, he introduced me to the realm that is Danville Country Club. Never before have I ever fathomed in any of my wildest, most exotic dreams to see such a plethora of food placed before me. After an enivorating and exciting round Brad and I stopped into the 19th whole to wet our whistles with a tasty tripple Gin and Tonic. I thank you Danville for all the memories I have, and the future visits that I look forward to.

Oakdale Country Club
"Wow........"
I have a membership at Oakdale and let me tell you, it's worth it. The courses rolling hills and steep inclines make it a tough challenge. The bunkers and the water hazards are also huge barriers to overcome on this course. You can't beat the price either. My membership paid for itself in a matter of weeks and after that I was practically playing for free. I strongly advise anyone that wants an enjoyable round of golf to check out Oakdale Country Club.
