This hilly course in Western Pennsylvania has a variety of different holes, so expect to use every club in your bag. The undulating greens are kept soft, and most fairways are wide open with no defined cut of rough. Some holes are cut through the trees. Water hazards come into play on four holes, but none require a shot over water. The toughest hole is #7, a 534-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot from a wide open box into a narrow chute. A lake runs along the entire left side of the hole and woods are to the right. Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays. There is an additional set of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. The ladies' tee off from the same area as the men.

if you have ever golfed in this area you relize that there are 2 types of courses. private corses which are nice but... private and then courses that are a bit run down. well cross creek is the exception it may be young(few trees still coming up) but its lots of fun and well maintained with a good staff and a great time for new or more seasend golfers alike

This course is probably one of the nicest ones I've ever played! - I MEAN IT!!! The greens were very well kept, the clubhouse was delightful, and my wife loved your fairways! I played here, once,-back in the 60's, but it was quite different then. (To be honest it looks allot smaller, and I don't remember there being any Homes so near the course?) We WILL be back, this summer!
