Great for beginners/kids, May 26, 2004

I love Big Boulder! It is a shortish course that lets you work on your short irons. It is a bigger challenge than a par 3 course, since you get to use every club in your bag. It is the perfect place to play if you are learning, or want to get your kids interested in the game. Greens fees are very affordable and I have not experienced long waits to tee off. This course is probably not for the above average golfer, nor for someone used to country club surroundings, but it is a great place for those who are learning the game or are looking for a tune-up.

Twin Hills Golf Course
"Short and well maintained"
Twin Hills is a short course - 6000 yards according to the card, and even that might be a stretch. The game starts on the greens here; they are among the most difficult in the area because of the undulations. The best holes are the par 3s. The facilities are barebones - no proshop, small and dated clubhouse. No frills golf, but they seem to have course maintenance down to a science.

So So course. I was shocked to find out that the dinning is open to the public because of their alcohol lic. I mean, why pay for membership when anyone can come off the street and eat/drink at your club.
