This is a fairly flat course, but there are a few hills that can cause uneven lies. The fairways are wide open. There are ditches that fill with water coming into play on four holes. However, if you hit the ball into the ditch on hole #4, you get a free drop. There are no sand bunkers on the course. The greens are undulating and fast. Green fees are good for all-day play. The yardage indicated for the ladies' tee is an estimate provided by the club personnel. The scorecard doesn't show yardage for individual holes, so each hole is an estimate of how far the ladies' tees have been moved in front of the men's tees.

Whispering Pines Golf Club
"Childhood Hole in One"
I got my hole-one-on the par-3 7th. Its the kind of hole that it could happen any day to any of us. And hey, thats gotta be worth something!!! The green is two tiered and the top tier is hard to stay on, the ball likes to role down to the bottom, always where the pin is. You tee off from above, the hole is about 120 yrds I think. So, get it on the green, watch it role and you've got yourself a chance my friend! Overall, the course is a 9 holer and its fun. Golf period...is fun, come on right.

"GOLF JUNKIE"
VERY NICE COURSE FOR THE $$.THE GREENS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.SOME FAIRWAYS ARE TIGHT AND TREE LINED.THE COURSE IS MORE DIFFICULT THAN THE RATING OF 113(MORE LIKE A 125 TO 127 FROM THE BACK TEES).IT CAN USE A FEW MORE SAND TRAPS,BUT THERE ARE ENOUGH TREES AND WATER TO KEEP YOU HONEST.

Sandpiper Golf & Country Club
"A nice short course"
I have played this golf course for the last 10 years, 2 to 5 times each year at various time, usually in the winter. Sandpiper is a short course with plenty of par 3's and short par 4's. The layout makes for a slow round on the front side on a busy day. It usually opens up on the back, which is the better 9 holes. Greens are in good condition year round. Course gets more play in the winter when the ajoining retirement community is fully occupied. Long hitters have no advantage as any long drive (250 or more) puts you too close to the greens. Use irons and 4 woods off most of the tees. Any drive 200 yards down the middle is great for this course. Some holes feel too close to the homes. Can be a real challenge when windy.

Chaparral Country Club
"Basic golf outing"
In Bullhead City, the wind usually blows hard. This course is short, albeit somewhat challenging, because of the conditions played in. The fairways are unremarkable, the greens putt mostly true, although is tough to read. Usually putt the straight line and on the hard side to get them in. You won't need driver too often. Better than a kick in the head, but not the best golf around. Good practice.
