This club offers both the nine hole Bonny Meade Course and a regulation eighteen hole course. Both courses have narrow fairways. Water hazards (two lakes) come into play on five holes on the Regulation Course. Most of the greens are sloped, undulating, and fast. There are also some strategically-placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The Bonny Meade Course has water hazards coming into play on all but one hole. This course was designed to mimic the Scottish-links tradition.

Gaines County Golf Course
"west texas' best course"
A challenge for beginners, yet not so that you cant shoot par. Hole5 is the #1 handicap on the course, a challenging par 4 that will require a 260+ yard drive down the fairway then you might use anwhere from a 5 wood down to a 4 iron and get it on the green and putt for birdie, that would be the best why to play it my opinion. If you play here the greens are fast and the rough is medium, there alot of trees onthe front 9 but nothing a intermidate to a master golfer couldnt handle. So if your an ameture this the best course to play in west texas.

Whispering Oaks Golf & Country Club
"OUTSTANDING VALUE"
Played it many times. Expansive layout, well manicured, nice greens. A little dry at times, but thats the neighborhood. Recent updates such as massive waste-bunkers installed in various locations make it attractive, looks expensive. A very fun course to play. Better than 2 or 3 other courses in the area. Water holes are a challenge and beautifully presented. But don't tell anybody, I like the course to myself. Going back Feb 3rd to the 13th 2004.

"Lakewood First-timer"
This course is beautiful. Great challange for new or old. It was my first time playing the game and the course layout helped get me addicted to the game.

Riverton Golf Club
"Great value/tough holes"
This course starts with the hardest starting hole in the Rochester area. Dogleg par 5 with Genesee River on the left the entire way. Second hole is a tough par 4 with bunkers in front of the green. Water comes into play on 5 holes. Greens and fairway are normally in great condition. It's a 9 holer, but for a good challenge at a nice price, you can't beat Riverton. I now live in AZ and refuse to pay what they want for a round out here.
