This course is nicknamed "Mission Impossible." Sand bunkers come into play on almost every hole, and water hazards come into play on four holes. The signature hole is #4, a 470-yard, par 4, requiring a monstrously long tee shot into a prevailing wind in order to set up an almost equally long approach shot over a creek to the green. Making a par on this hole feels more like a birdie for the average player. Jerry Martin redesigned two holes in 1986.
