This is not a long course, but the narrow fairways make shot accuracy an important part of the game. This course is often the host for the Local Mid-Atlantic PGA events. Water hazards come into play on a few holes. Cart rental fee per person is $13.00 and rental clubs are available for $20.00. Signature hole is the 18th hole, par 4 with dogleg left around a pond.

This course is in a beautiful setting and people have paid to live in the area. It is a really sad that no effort has been put into bringing this course up to a descent standard. The practice areas are the worse I have ever seen. My husband and I went early Sunday morning and everything was a mess. It took the joy of practicing away. Whoever owns it needs to sell.

Not only was the course not well maintained, but the staff was totally rude and un-helpful. I am very dissapointed with my experience and would have expected a lot more.

Golf course or mud hole?, Nov 12, 2004 |

On this very nice day after all the ran we had. We visited lake arbor even tho they said they had aerated the fairways. Come to find out that they didn't only do the fairways, but the tee boxes, fairways and greens. This was the worst condition I have EVER seen a course in. Why would anyone try and aerate anything when the ground is that wet is beyond me. I won't be visiting this coure for sometime, to bad it has a very nice layout..

Although there has been an attempt to build up this course to it's former condition; they are failing miserably. The tee-box's are uneven and full of weeds and the fairways needed grooming. Two weeks ago I played there on a Sunday and we couldn't even putt on one hole because the GREEN WAS COVERED IN DUCK DING! This course is on my DO NOT RETURN list!
