This course is enjoyed by all skill levels. The generous fairways are tree lined, and the greens are well manicured. Arnold Palmer and other well-known golfers have enjoyed playing here. This course was once recognized by "Golf Digest" as being one of the top thirty-six public courses in the U.S. Several holes offer panoramic views of the lake. Azalea City Golf Course is a beautiful course. Very well maintained...looks and plays great! Brian Aaron, golf course superintendent, & his crew does an excellent job making it one of the best in Mobile!

Pines Par 3 Golf Course
"Pines Par 3"
This course is just a ball to play. Yes they are only par 3's with the longest being 90yards but this is still a great course to work on your short game. It has done wonders for mine. This course is also a great place to get the kids started on golf. Friendly atmosphere. On Monday Nights they have a Golf Tournament entry fee is about $15, including the hole-in-one pool.

For a fast round of 9-holes this course is very enjoyable, and actually quite challenging. The greens are all in good condition throught the year, and so are the fairways. Par 3's range from 90-yards to 205-yards, and the par 4s are long enough where you can hit driver and/or 3-wood. Wonderful practice putting green surrounding water and driving range is also nice. For the price and convenience of walking on without a long wait, it's a winner in my book.

"Quick eighteen"
This course is short, but what it may lack in length it makes up with difficulty along the course. Fast greens and sloping fairways provide players with challenges every time out. Throw in some wind and you are playing some real good golf if you can break eighty from the back tees on this Par 69 course. Fun course with good people in the Pro Shop make this course a great place to play.

Chief at Sky Lodge Golf Course, The
"Bring it on!"
The Chief is perhaps the most challenging course I have played in northern Michigan. While it is a toughy, especially from the tips, it brings out a carnal instinct in me to play it again because I know that with my new knowledge I can improve my score. The course was in great shape with its bent tees, greens and fairways nicely manicured. The pro indicated that they just lowered the length of the rough, which made a great improvement. Service was also great in the shop. Leave your driver at home and have some fun.
