This course is wide open. A few pine trees line the fairways that can alter your shots. In addition, water hazards (ponds) come into play on many holes. If you take a closer examination of the ponds, you may catch a glimpse of one of the fishing turtles.

Build Your Golf Confidence, Sep 29, 2009
reviewer: Leon Goddard from SC, USA
If your game's been in the toilet like mine has been, your confidence to hit the golf ball quickly follows. This course is perfect for finding your swing and regaining your confidence and mental golf attitude. Playing from the whites tee markers is no piece of cake. It is challenging, however; you will not be severely penalized after hitting one of those banana slices or hooks off the tee box. You simple walk into the next fairway and get your ball back in play. This is the perfect course for learning the game.

A great field for all levels of golfers, Jul 23, 2007
reviewer: Charles Walker from Moncks Corner, SC.
I just moved here and the course is close to home so I went out for a round. I found the course in very good shape, sort of wide open but trouble can find you if you wander to far off the fairway. The greens are medium size and have lots of character. They putt true and in great shape. Lots of watering stations around the course to stay quenched. The price is a great value and you will score low if you stay out of the trees.

Berkeley, a user friendly golf course, Sep 19, 2005
reviewer: Bill Kennedy from Goose Creek
Berkeley CC is the kind of course you can relax and enjoy--especially if you struggle to break 100 at places like Crowfield and Rivertowne. The fairways have generous landing areas, with few OBs. Many holes have adjoining fairways, so wayward shots can at least be found and played. Water fronts two par threes, so you won't lose two dozen golf balls playing here. The greens were recently replaced, and the course is in excellent condition. Relaxed dress codes mean you can play comfortably, and the food and drinks are priced lower than any other course in the area. Tee times are generally easy to get.

BCC Review, Apr 08, 2004
reviewer: Jeremy Hamilton Emploee BCC from MC SC
This course is a wide open, with few really challenging obsticals. Most holes have no sharp dog legs, or hard-to hit greens. Currently the course is really dry due to the drought, so consequently the greens are very hard. This course is very enjoyable to play, and is in a rural setting, resulting in a peaceful atmosphere. The second best thing about the course is the staff. The staff is only the best and most qualified for the jobs. The pro-shop is fully stocked with the finest in golf equipment and apperal. The pro-shop also does all club repairs, and alterations. The club also offers a bar and grill. Here you can order something to eat and drink, and relax and watch a game, on our 20 inch color television. Hope you find this helpful.
