This course is maintained very well, and locals claim it's the best course within a fifty-mile radius. This is an easy course to walk because the terrain is mostly flat with wide fairways. However, the greens are elevated and water hazards come into play on a few holes.

| The greens are kept in great shape and the tee boxes are bent grass and beautiful. The quality for the fee is excellent. A great mix of challenging and forgiving holes. The first hole is a straight away par 4 with a blind tee shot up a small rise. The second hole is a hard par 5 with a tee shot over water, a carry of about 200 yards from the blue tees. After getting over the water the water stays in play along this dog leg left hole. The green is small, crowned, and guarded with bunkers on all sides. A par is a good score. The third hole is a par 3, about 180, watch out for the wind if it is up. The fourth hole is a par 4 with a fairway that slopes right towards some trees and a bunker. The 5th hole is a par four dog leg left that has huge trees on the left blocking the corner. If you can draw the ball this hole is for you. Otherwise you are limited to an iron off the tee. The 6th hole is a tight par three with water on the right and trees and bunkers around the green. From the blues a 190 shot. The 7th hole is a par 4 over a creek which you can reach but not fly over with a drive of about 240. Play smart and hit two irons to the green. The 8th hole is a tough severe dog leg right par 5 with a tee shot through a chute stopping you from cutting anything off of the corner. This green is multiple levels and many slopes. The par 5's are the hardest holes on the course. The 9th hole is a par 4 dog leg left and a little downhill with a fairly narrow fairway in the landing area. After that play 9 again and you have a very satisfactory round of 18.
If you are in the area give it a try. You will enjoy it. |
