This course plays very long and is extremely difficult to score well on. The back nine is more challenging than the front nine because the fairways are narrower. Additionally, the greens are smaller on the back nine and there are more water hazards that come into play.

I like playing this course year round as it always presents a challenge. However, the greens are poorly kept with weeds. As I said, it could be an top knotch course. It is public and cheap though!!

I play Chennault as my home course. I usually find it very challenging to score well on and consistantly score better on the back than the front.

It is not a well maintained course. It is dufficult to tell the fairways from the rough. I wouldnt take time to go and play there.

Mount Hood Golf Course
"Mount Hood is looking good."
I was surprised at how improved the conditions were at Mount Hood when I played it in the fall of 2003. There are new people running the place and I'd never believe it to be the same course I played a couple years back. One of the guys I played with was the teaching pro which made it fun and enjoyable to go around the course.
