This facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The greens on the East Course are tiered, while the greens on the West Course are slightly sloped. Water hazards on the West Course come into play on fourteen holes, while water hazards on the East Course come into play on at least fifteen holes. Both courses have fairways sand bunkers, but there are more on the East Course than on the West Course.

Downriver beauty, May 17, 2004

I've played this course about 4 times in the last two years and it will remain on my list of Downriver course to play. Most of the holes look fairly easy but water and other hazards will come up and bite you. It's far enough off the highway that you won't notice it and many of the holes are as nice to look at as they are to play. I have yet to break 90 (10 handicap) on this course but I'll keep trying 'cause it's just plain fun to play.

Pines Par 3 Golf Course
"Pines Par 3"
This course is just a ball to play. Yes they are only par 3's with the longest being 90yards but this is still a great course to work on your short game. It has done wonders for mine. This course is also a great place to get the kids started on golf. Friendly atmosphere. On Monday Nights they have a Golf Tournament entry fee is about $15, including the hole-in-one pool.

Woodland Hills Golf & Country Club

Not a bad course considering its location and market. Bent greens are some of the best I've played, and putting them are as true as carpet. Fairways are nice, but work is needed in and around the fairway rough. There are no signs from finishing green to the next tee. This was extremely confusing after #1 (There are three tee boxes within 40 feet of #1 green.), so pay close attention to your course layout map on your scorecard. The laid-back atmosphere was extremely nice. There was little to no pressure from anyone, and everyone I meet was very nice and courteous. Overall I give the course a 4 out of 5, and the hospitality a 5 out of 5. I also can say this course will challenge you, so carry every club in your bag.

Montreux Golf & Country Club
"Best Course In Nevada"
You need to be invited to play, or know a member, but if you get an opportunity to play this course, jump at the chance. A Jack Nickalus designed course, Montreux is also a PGA tour stop for the Reno Tahoe Open.
