Renovtions, Feb 08, 2010 |
| reviewer: Charlie

| Recent renovations to the greens on the front side and additional bunkers on the back have made this course a much fairer test. Some of the old front side greens were severely sloped and would penalize a good shot or make an average shot just off the green almost impossible to get up and down from. Most of the severe slopes have been removed but he front side greens are still small and require accurate shots to hit them. The additional bunkering on the back side narrows the holes a bit but the greens on this side ar larger. Nice people and a great place to play for the money. |

| I love the course layout. It has a very natural look and feel with wide fairways. The greens can have severe slopes, but putt true. The greens may not be as fine as other courses in the area, but they are certainly playable. The greens fees are as low as any that can be found in the entire region. For the price, you can't beat this course. |

| I wanted to say that the people at Monroe Country Club have done a wonderful job on the improvements of the golf course. I enjoy playing this course. The quality of the course it superior in comparison to what they charge you to play it. |
