This course was built on rolling and wooded terrain. The course has outstanding greens that average 5,000 square feet in size. The fairways are open and well maintained. The signature hole is #6, a 180-yard, par 3, featuring a narrow opening to the green protected by a deep ravine. The longest hole is #9, a 350-yard, par 4, playing uphill to a narrow, multi-tiered, and undulating green.

Great 9 hole course, Mar 31, 2004

Maple Crest golf course is a great course to go to if you are just starting out or have little time to play on regular 18 hole courses. It sits in a private tract of land away from traffic and other such noises. For a relaxing hour or so it is well worth checking out. The Greens, Fairways, and other areas are maintained to almost country club perfection.

"Good Starter Course"
For an inexpensive, well maintained course to play while you are learning the basics of golf, this course is the one to play on. No par 5's. The course has good water, and easy par 3's that are helpful when you feel the pressure of the group behind you when your beginning. For the price, the location in Fountain Valley's Mile Square Park is beautiful, and I've never felt that a person starting off in the sport would feel embarrassed to make a mistake at this course.

play here everytime I come to AZ, course is in great condtion and the girls who deliver food and snacks are gorgeous, keeps me coming back all the time.... very affordable rates too, if you want a fair but tough course then play here...never that crowded, I guess if you live in AZ this course is considered and easy place to play....I like easy... why makes things tougher...
